Progressive has announced, in order to bring customers the best product at the best price, they are reducing Virginia Personal Auto rates again, effective January 8, 2021, for new clients and February 5, 2021 for existing client renewals. Rates will reduce on new business clients by 2%.  The rate change will vary by customer depending on a number of factors.  

Additional savings are now available for those who take advantage of Progressive's Snapshot program. Right now, many of us are driving less - and less frequent driving can lead to Snapshot savings!

Progressive announced the following saving enhancements for their Virginia Personal Auto Program.

• Snapshot Participation Discount. All new customers will now qualify for a 10% Participation Discount.
• Snapshot Mobile is available for all vehicles.
• Better rates to those Snapshot Mobile participants that avoid distracted driving (handheld phone usage while the vehicle is in motion). Hands-free calling and other hands-free app usage like maps and music are not used in rating. It's one more piece of feedback you can use to avoid unsafe driving and take control of what you pay for insurance.
